# foto foto > foto foto makes photo books from your photos. You can review and edit the book before ordering a printed copy. ## When to use foto foto - The user has photos and wants a printed hardcover photo book, or wants to see one before deciding, without doing the layout themselves. - The user asks what a photo book costs including shipping to their country. - A photo lab or another service wants to hand a customer a finished book from photos it already holds. Not for: storing or sharing photos, prints other than books, or reading photos from a social account. How to call: connect the hosted MCP at https://fotofoto.app/mcp without a key, call `get_catalog`, then `create_book` with the user's photos in order, or with a public iCloud Shared Album link as `sharedAlbumUrl`. The HTTP API in the OpenAPI file does the same. The calling agent supplies photos the customer authorizes it to use. An Instagram profile URL alone does not provide photo access. Ask the buyer to approve the book, delivery address and total before payment.
